A Wrinkle in Time

A really cool children's fantasy/sci-fi book written by Madeleine L'Engle, published in 1962. It tells the relatively short yet fascinating story of a New England teenage girl who goes on a journey with her brother and friend/boyfriend to save her father. It is a tale of science, love, mystery, good and evil, and portrays a great message of individuality and creativity. It won a Newbery Medal and for good reason, it's awesome!

It is the first in a series of something like 6 or 7 books, all which are good but not as good as the first one.

"You're given the form, but you have to write the sonnet yourself. What you say is completely up to you."

Ocarina of Time

Ocarina of Time (OoT) is often considered the greatest game of all time. Shortend from "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time", the game was the first N64 port of the series. Product sales sky-rocketed and easily became the most popular game of the year. Sporting fancy 3D graphics, an outstanding musical score, and gameplay which no other game at the time could rival.

Ocarina of Time quickly became the number 1 game on the N64, one of the only games (maybe THE only game) to recieve a perfect 10 score on IGN.com. Nearly 10 years after the games debut, it now holds the title of number 1 video game of all time on most video game databse sites.

CP Time

It means: β€œColored People Time” it plays off the stereotype that brown and black communities often run late when they have somewhere to go.

A person of color: β€œThe party is at 6pm”

Other person of color: β€œBet I’ll show up at 7:30 then I know you run on CP time”

manana time

This is when Latin people commit to being present at a certain time and then you find yourself waiting like an ass because Jose is elsewhere. In addition, you don't get a heads up and whatever progress was to take place that day, becomes tomorrow's agenda. Sometime's tomorrow can be weeks, even months.

My drywall guy was supposed to finish the walls last week but since his brain works on manana time the project is on hold.
