coolidity quotient

The measurement of a person's coolness. A quantifiable essence of hipness that can be factored and attributed to a subject person.

Howard Stern has a high "coolidity quotient", while Don Imus has a relatively low one by comparison.

Tiredness Quotient

A measurement of how tired you are. Also can be used to denote how far away from dropping dead asleep you are.
(0 - minimum; 100 - maximum)

Mathematically:

{1 - (Ability to stay awake and do whatever you are doing at that point of time)/(Ability to keep doing whatever you are doing after 12 hours of dreamless sleep)}x100

where units of Ability are user-defined as long as the unit is constant in the numerator and denominator.

A Tiredness Quotient (TQ) of 0 would mean you are not tired at all or you are wide awake with no hint of fatigue.

A TQ of 100, on the other hand, would cause you to fall sleep involuntarily.

In some countries people may refer to this as Tiredness Index or Fatigue Index or Fatigue Quotient.

My Tiredness Quotient is 90 after driving from DC to Cleveland. I'm ready to hit the sack.

His Tiredness Quotient must have been really high, he fell asleep at the wheel driving

Hey Siddharth, guess what my Tiredness Quotient is after working 12 hours straight on my homework assignment? Ninety-ni... zzzzz

Rat's Ass Quotient

A process of deciding whether you care or have an opinion about any thing, policy, concept, idea, etc, by stripping it down to its most basic parts. If you are motivated enough to have a position/opinion on any of its parts, then it can be said you give a rat's ass about the topic.

Basically a way of determining whether you give a rat's ass about a specific issue, topic, etc.

Normally, I could give a rat's ass about the New York Yankees. However, since they drafted former Nebraska Cornhusker Joba Chamberlain; I have an interest in them; and how the Yankees are doing passes my rat's ass quotient.

brown kid quotient

The brown kid quotient (or BKQ) is the number of total students divided by the number of brown kids in a school. It can be used to make quick and accurate judgments of a school's affluence and prestige. Closely related to a school's academic achievement.

Rich: Hey Allison, you should go to Queens with me.
Allison: Fuck that, the BKQ is too high, I'd get raped.

Nerd: I can't attend Fowler, its brown kid quotient is off the charts!!

Epidemiological Quotient [Epi Quo]

I have coined this term and it can be measured "to assess the knowledge of the doctors about the medicine and health in the social context".

Epidemiological Quotient Epi Quo can be explained like If a doctor has good knowledge about the treatment of a illness but if he/she doesnt know that what is the problem statement of that disease in the society it can be said that He/She has low Epidemiological Quotient Epi Quo. A good doctor knows the treatment and social pathology of that disease also(In other words, good in Epidemiology). eg. If doctor knows the treatment of diabetes but he doesnt know what all factors like Genetics, age, sex, socio economic status affect the chances of one getting Diabetes or what is the prevalence of it in his society then that doctor can be called that he has low epi quo. Knowing all this means Higher Epidemiological Quotient.
