Mini-assessment

Code word British teachers are using when talking about GCSEs during the pandemic. They are the same as the GCSE exams but done earlier in the year, higher in quantity, and in the classrooms instead of the hall.

Teacher: It's NOT an exam! It's just a mini-assessment to see how you're doing. It will count towards your final grade but it isn't the ONLY thing that will, so it's not important and I don't want you stressing over it.
