Bombs Away

An announcement by the bombadier, usually over the public address system or intercom of an airplane, informing the captain and crew of the aircraft that the bombs/ordnance have been released and are no longer on the aircraft.

Bombadier: Bombs away!
Pilot: Good job. Let's GTFO

Imperative expression used to mean "go for it!", "get started!", "it's yours now, run with it!".

Used frequently in TV shows in front of a live audience when ceding center stage to a guest performer/contestant (impromptu or not).

To avoid punishment, blame, or criticism from others for doing something incorrect or bad.

- She was speeding in town and thought she could get away with it by talking nice to the cops.

An expression of being very drunk and very excited. Most effectivly used in an Irish accent.
