Before Times

Before COVID-19.

We used to go to the same club in 2019 in the before times.

Ignorance was bliss in January 2020 in the β€œBefore Times”

in before op

Created in the GameTrailer forums. Due to a huge glitch known as "Database Error", whenever someone would make a thread, he/she would make 5 threads in its place with no OP.

When people came in, they would reply "In b4 OP"

*enter thread with no OP*

"inb4OP" or "in before op"

Morning Before

The opposite of morning after where an individual feels fine without any headaches or such before he/she parties and gets drunk all night long. Unlike the morning after, where you have to deal with killer headaches, you will feel normally fine, only to realize that you were later invited to a party to get crossfaded or drunk.

I spend the morning before doing my homework for chemistry in college, but after I was invited to that party last night, I had to deal with killer headaches and needed pain reliever.

in before the lock

Phrase used to imply that a forum thread is either stupid or pointless and is going to be locked by a forum mod/admin. It's a much cooler way of saying "I bet this thread is gonna be locked soon".

OP: Hey everyone, I thought I'd just bring up something that's been posted several times before...

OP+1: In before the lock! ;

Forum Admin: I'm locking this thread because its stupid and pointless and has been brought up several times before.

The Before Time

Phrase from Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome, used by the children born after societal collapse in referring to the time before.

Also occurs in South Park's "Wacky Molestation Adventure," as a cultural reference to Mad Max, as the kids cause society to collapse in the episode after claiming that every adult in town molested them.

People were happy in the before time, the long long ago.
