A Twitch fad started by popular streamer Jerma985 and since picked up by several other streamers, where live feed of "the horror" is occasionally put on screen during a regular stream, such as gaming or chatting. Anyone who sees "the horror" finds it extremely funny, with laughing fits sometimes lasting hours, but every time it is shown, one of the viewers dies from unknown causes. Finding victims has proven difficult due to the global nature of Twitch viewership, and as such only 6 out of the estimated 70 victims of the trend have been identified and located, with the subsequent autopsies yielding no conclusive results as to the cause of death. This effect is only observed during the live streams; Twitch clips or externally recorded footage of "the horror" have been confirmed to not produce the same reaction, and were instead found by viewers to be mildly unsettling but otherwise uninteresring, with no fatalities recorded.
