Sexually perverted, sadistic, dark and sexually inappropriate humor
This definition of Hannibal Lecter humor refers to a type of humor that only Hannibal Lecter, the character from both the book trilogy and the movies (Hannibal Rising, Hannibal, The Silence of the Lambs and Red Dragon, in chronological order), would find 'funny'.

"Shadow Humor" Is when someone hides in the shadows of the phrase "Dark Humor" to openly hate on a specific kind of person or serious concept. For example, someone using shadow humor would frequently say things along the lines of "*insert specific kind of people* are so stupid. I could literally walk up to them and they would be *insert joke about common stereotype about said person* and then proceed to tell you your just too much of a snowflake to get dark humor. Someone who uses shadow humor also uses it for specific subjects pretty often.

Kevin: That's the seventh joke you've made about people with problems like that today ... it's not even funny... there's no punchline you're just making fun of people who suffer from self-harm...

Kevin: That's not dark humor. You're using shadow humor. Stop using dark humor as an excuse to make fun of people with actual problems.
Its when you respond to either irony or sarcasm with more irony or sarcasm, respectively. More commonly referred to as “playing along.” Double humor, however is more specific than playing along because it may be without the knowledge or consent of one or more parties involved in the “double joke.”

Harry: That's double humor.
Humor that does not exist, and if they are trying to joke, then they are sounding like hey are talking normally.

The term is to describe someone who wasn't involved in the conversation when you make a joke that's offensive.
