Baby Boomer

Generation of Americans born between 1946 and 1964. Associated with Hippies, the environmental movement, the typical Baby Boomer was raised on the culture that the government will give him/her whatever she wants or needs in life. Being raised with the nanny state mentality, Baby Boomers are the leading factor to the disappearance of personal responisbility, spending beyond one's means, and the physical and moral degeneration of the family in American culture.

The generation that was born and raised during the Great Depression helped build America to greatness. The Baby Boomers came in and destroyed it.

Boomer trash

Among the large scope of aging u.s. citizens born in the generation from '41 to ~'55, there seem to be ever more individuals that refuse to offer other younger citizens (see: millennial) any respect. Boomer trash being a derogatory statement for those particular errogant individuals, not much unlike Different in nature from "millennial" or "baby boomer" in that not all millennials are "snowflakes" and not all baby boomers are boomer trash.

Battle cries of the boomer trash include:

"Back in my day we-" (something like implying autism and mental illnesses didn't exist when in reality the mentally ill were locked away or treated like subhumans)

"You kids will never be able to-"
This one leads down lots of rabbit holes. No explanation needed.

"Typical millennial"

As if it offended us.

"Snowflake"
Pejorative term from the internet ironically highjacked from millennials

"Billy show me how to Snapchat, because I can't understand bhow to

press two buttons , also Billy youre always on your damned phone back in my day blah blah"

Signifiers of the boomer trash:
Hawaiian shirt and cargo pants
American classic automobiles
Republican values
Shouting at millennial cashiers and service workers
Scoffing at gays and the like

I feel disdain and malice for crotchety old asshats and crazy old bats that go around badmouthing my entire generation as a whole, yet I don't wish to generalize All of our elderly population, as my grandparents are quite sweet and loving, so I use the term " boomer trash" to describe aforementioned asshats and bats.

Spirit Boomer

Someone who was not born into the baby boomer generation (1946-1964), but still behaves in the stereotypical boomer fashion.

"Man, Ben Shapiro is such an entitled asshole."
"Yeah, so out of touch. His rich parents gave him every opportunity imaginable, then he condescends to poor people like they should just demand more money."
"It's weird, though, because he's so young. He was only born in 1984."
"Complete Spirit Boomer."

Boomer Tech

Injecting technology for technology's sake in a subpar manner into everything; often automating a simple humanistic element of life into cheap robotic annoyance. From that Ipad loaded with ads at your restaurant table, to the miserable robocustomer service representative. "Sorry, I didn't quite get that"

This phenomena arose as Boomers tried to stay relevant in their business careers. Operating under the universal assumption that more technology = good they jammed Boomertech into crevices of life where it's presence was never quite needed or wanted.

See also "internet of shit"

They actually bought those boomer tech e-bikes! Just ride a normal bike you lazy shit.

Boomer Truth

A Boomer Truth is a statement or sentiment that was true (or less false) around the time the Baby Boomers were in their 20s and 30s but is now wildly untrue or out of touch. While one does not have to be a Boomer to believe a Boomer Truth, it requires a level of ignorance about modern life that often comes with being a Boomer.

"Well, when I was your age, I could afford a car, and house and support a family working only one job. You just need to work harder."

"Save me your Boomer Truth, Grandpa. I've heard it all before."
