a bunch of people, many of whom are actually adults, who are more into the ideas of being in bands, knowing lyrics, being friends with people in bands, and drawing attention to themselves rather than actual music itself.

so glad i avoided getting sucked into the scene at a young age

Lets have one from someone who really is SCENE.

Typical Scene Traits:

-Choppy, angled bangs, layers, razor-chopped hair. Straight. Really long or super short. Died hair, hilights.
-Lots of makeup, black eyeliner.
-Trendy, creative clothing. tight shirts, tight jeans.
-buys clothes at thrift stores
-takes lots of pictures and photoshopps them till they look like a doll.
-has a myspace
-Some type really weird, but some are literate freaks.
-Addicted to fashion, trends, childsclothing such as hairribbions, barbies, carebears, ect.
-Addicted to certian genres of music, Indie, hardxcore, rock, ect.
-says their ugly, knows their pretty/hot
-OKAY. let me say this, We're not posers of eachother. We like the same things, and thats why were "scene" and because we don't like other genres such as "gangster" "Prep" or "Emo" dosn't make us BAD ,or give you right to make our group look BAD. We don't need more hate entrys on Ubandictionary.

I'm so scene, With my hair that I cut myself, my original pants that I cut holes in, and this band teeshirt I found at the local thriftshope that dosnt fit me! My makeup makes me look like a porcliean doll! I'm going to take some pictures of me making a peace sign! Ya, I love my Indie bands, And I'm so hardxcore!

Scene girls all have the new straight frindges and dyed black or bleached hair.
They all wear skinny trousers, check shirts and grey jackets
and have a fetish for lepard print
they are arragant and full of themselves
take pictures at angles above there heads and have millions of myspaz friends

Gay Guys Playing Drag Queens. Sometimes they skip the closet stage and go directly to act like drags. they wear hello kitty stuffs, have jessica simpson hair extensions, wear girls jeans, cause they looks like guys skinny jeans, they wear makeup, eyeliner, glitter, then think they are fashion gods. They dont have girlfriends... They worship britney, jefree star etc.

Usually kids who go to shows, and just sit there smoking their cig because they are too cool to mosh or dance. They insist that they are different, but everyone of them has the same hair cut, and are basically wearing a fucking uniform.

Don't be in it for the scene, be in it for the music.

scene kids are a bunch of whiney teenagers that like to go with what the emo kids etc
think is cool... because its the scene hence forth they are scene. they also like tight clothes, like FashionXcore people!
