Covid times

1. A period of extreme uncertainty characterized by global public unrest and demonstrations, hyper-partisan acrimony, a health pandemic, economic doldrums, social and cultural upheavals, general unrest, and fear about the future.

2. A period when everyday activities are locked-down, when people must stay six feet away from others (social-distancing), and when the wearing of face masks becomes the norm.

We are currently living in COVID times!

COVID Collaborator

An individual who chooses not to comply with lawful restrictions and guidance in relation to the COVID-19 virus pandemic and collaborates with the virus to the detriment of law abiding citizens.

That man over there is not wearing a mask, he is a COVID Collaborator.

Covid Card

What companies do to lessen overhead even if they were able to be open the entire time. The reasoning sounds good, yet we all know the truth, it's about the almighty dollar this time

Holiday Inn Express in Austintown, Ohio uses the Covid Card to close the pool and hot tub at 9 PM (2 hours earlier) even though nobody will be cleaning it until the AM anyways. Normally when Maintenance comes in at 8.

Covid-𝛾

Read as “Covid-gamma.” Also known as the P.1 or “Gamma” variant. Like the Alpha and Beta variants, the Gamma variant (or the “Bolsonaro virus,” as the Opposition in Brazil call it with reference to their President’s inept handling of the coronavirus crisis), which was first detected in January 2021 and tested in travelers entering Japan, is believed to be more transmissible than Covid-19.

Because Covid-𝛾 shares some mutations with Covid-β (the South African variant), the gamma variant’s effects on immunity and vaccine effectiveness remains a worry for health officials, as confirmed by some collected samples.

Covid Year

A Covid year is a year that is marked by extreme time dilations where time seems to go by much slower due to tedious chaos and the inability to socialize in person.

Me: So I got together with by brothers last night. We had a nice time going out to dinner.
Them: Its been a while - a covid year to be exact.

Covid-☯️

When superstitious folks are gullibly led to believe that applying feng shui principles at the entrance of their house or office building would ward off the coronavirus or its deadlier variants—when the yin or negative energies of the pandemic outside would be neutralized by the yang or positive energies inside.

Thanks to Covid-☯️, a number of feng shui masters saw a golden opportunity to prey on the superstitious or frightened folks to grow their paranormal businesses.
