New Age Ads

A promotion forum that pulled up a good start, ended with crackings from Brandon and his team, and more. All but one NAA's ran on Invisionfree, the last one on IPB. It all started in August 2008, where TStorm2, Womo123, speedjammer, akiratheoni, RedSox9, and a few others started the NAA staff team. MisaTange became an elite member, then requested to become a service team member. They approved her application, though, because of her IP address was considered to be a spambot. A month later, all hell released. The forum was cracked for the first time, ever. Two more NAA's with the similar timeline and staff members above happened, and then was cracked again. After getting cracked a third time, two staff members took the stage for administrator. akiratheoni and Womo123 retired, and the administrative team was RedSox9 and MisaTange. We did not finish the graphics, and it was cracked. Next to take administrative spot were Zunder and speedjammer. There was no hope left for NAA. They had a freakishly bright purple skin, the old topics trashed in a trash bin of the forums. It was cracked once again. MisaTange left, and google'd New Age Ads for hope. Unfortunately, they had a suckish version no longer administrated by well-known NAA member. It was bought out by a member. Thanks to them, NAA is now inactive.

You can say this is a diary entry.

Nearly all of the New Age Ads generations were good. When I came out of summer vacation and typed in New Age Ads' long URL, I was excited and logged in. I registered into Driver's forum before NAA closed down.

Jus Ad Bellum

The first of two principles contained in the "Just War Theory," Jus Ad Bellum and Jus In Bello. Jus Ad Bellum in Latin means "The Law to War." It defines standards by which a country can declare war and maintain that their reasons were "just." The term was coined in the same era in which the League of Nations originated. However, it was not used in doctrine until the late 1940s. Its principles include a declaration of war must have a just cause, proper authority, right intention, resonable probability of success, and whose ends are proportional to the means.

Under the guildlines of Jus Ad Bellum, France and England had proper cause to declare war on Nazi Germany, who was the obvious aggresser in the second world war.

Reductio ad Absurdum

A process of making something stupid because that is what Google says it is.

For Example: If you put โ€œReductio ad Absurdumโ€ into Google Translate it detects the language as Latin, and translates it to English as: โ€œReductio ad Absurdum.โ€

Another Example: For years (through May 29, 2018 at least) if you ask Google "What does it mean to be an American?" it responds with this as the first answer (in a box even):

"It means that I can say "The Pledge of Allegiance" and that I can vote for the President, my county clerk, and the Mayor. But to me it means most of all to be free and to be proud that I live in the United States of America here in Wisconsin."

Dig deeper and you'll find it is written by an 10-year-old who, in addition to thinking that the U. S. is in Wisconsin, does not know that to be an American means she is free to NOT say the pledge and that she has 10 years to go before she can vote.

Thank you Google for establishing a 10-year-old as the #1 expert on what it means to be a patriot. Way to go.

If we're going to Make America Great Again we've got to stop all this Reductio ad Absurdum going on.
