Beijing Shuffle

Bringing ‘merch’ or goods that is related to a theme park inside the said theme park, to trick your kids or other people to think you bought those goods from the highly expensive theme park souvenir or merchandise stores.

Before we went to Disneyland, I bought Mickey Mouse toys from the mall and stuff it in my backpack to do the Beijing Shuffle to my kids and save me a whole lot of kaching.

Seiko Shuffle

The act of shaking or in some other fashion oscillating your Seiko (or other automatic wristwatch that is not capable of being manually wound) automatic wristwatch for the purpose powering it up enough to begin ticking so that it may be set and worn. Perhaps more than any other movement, the Seiko shuffle has been made necessary by the ubiquitous 7s26 movement which has since been upgraded (and renamed) to include hacking and hand-winding.

My Seiko Orange Monster has stopped, so I'll need to do the Seiko shuffle the next time i want to wear it.

Subway Shuffle

When riding the subway or metro and a person loses their footing because of the jerky movements of the train when it comes to a stop. This usually happens when people have their hands full with bags or are too busy using their phones to hold the handrails. This sometimes results in the person scrambling to not fall over but more often ends with them crashing in to other commuters and causing a commotion.

Dude, put down your phone before you end up doing the subway shuffle.

Salisbury shuffle

The age-old Tetris technique of continuously rotating and moving your piece so that it hooks on a ledge and starts near the top again, used to prolong the gaming experience so that the other player loses by natural causes.

John had no actual skill so he just Salisbury shuffled until the other player lost from sheer exhaustion.
