A phrase commonly used to signify that one will not get any left over food. The meaning is that instead of giving leftover food to the person asking for it, you would rather scrape it outside for the birds to eat.
Guy 1: Hey can I have your leftovers?
Guy 2: The birds are hungry.
A slicky bird is a woman trying to get over on you or a group of woman trying to deceive you. Often driven by money but not limited to.
"My boy was pissed this morning he couldn't find his credit card"
"I told him he shouldn't have left with those slicky birds."

A person pretending they don't see someone trying to get their attention or communicate with them. Ignoring someone.
