A mode in the big hit game, Gears Of War 2, and quite possibly the best idea anyone has come up with in the realm of infuriating time wasters that you play with (up to) four other people online, simply to successfully clear waves 1 through 50 to get an X-Box 360 achievement for 30 measly Gamer Points, just to have your best friend call you up asking if you want to do it all over again.

Any large, like minded group of people who make quick, knee jerk reactions based on sheltered and moronic views and are especially vocal in voicing their outrage. This can be political, religious, automotive or sports views in nature, or any other movement.
4chan's /b/ is a particularly active breeding ground for a retarded hordes.

Masses of biogenetically enhanced or cursed individuals on the rampage for human meat. Often the destruction of mankind (more affective but not as clean as pirates or ninjas). Zombie hordes can be most often found in two places:
1) Cities in a Zombie Apocolypse after some unwiting team mate triggers a car alarm, breaks a window, knocks over a trash can, etc.
2) Remote praries and abandoned towns in the midwest.
Tom: Hey, let's split directions while there are roving bands of zombie hordes about!
Betty: Okay! What's the worst that could happen?
Tom: Certainly not one of us getting cornered, turned into a flesh eating ghoul, and finding the other one totaly trusting while they turn their back and we proceed to eat their brains!
