The phenomenon where men interrupt women who are speaking much more commonly then they would interrupt other men, and much, much more commonly than women would interrupt man. The phenomenon was verified experimentally both in public speaking and in private one-on-one conversations.

Manterrupting is a huge issue that men don't understand, and can never understand. They use this as a way to discredit and bash feminists, though all women believe this is a real thing.
Manterrupting and masplaining go hand in hand, when a man believes, within himself, that he is right and should have to trample on others he will interrupt them.
Man: Well just deal with it, he's your president now!

When a girl is trying to state her opinion and a man interrupts her assuming his conversation or opinion is much better/more relevant.
It is different from "regular interrupting" depending on the context. It usually happens in work environments or classes, but it can happen in any regular conversation.

Like "mansplaining," "manterrupting" is an action taken by a male-identifying person to a female-identifying person in which the former speaks before the latter is done speaking, specifically when:
-he interrupts regarding something that is addressed to her;
-he interrupts regarding something that regards her specifically or female-identifying people in general;
-he interrupts her in a situation in which *most* would agree he would NOT have done, were he addressing another male-identifying person.
