The term pain mountain was first coined in 2008 by a young gentleman in Perth, Australia. It's a saying which suggests that the user is in a momentous amount of pain.
Pain Mountain may have been derived from equally ludicrous sayings such as "I'm on(/in) a mountain of pain right now", although who really knows.
It's a turn of phrase that brings with it a sense of patheticness and the use of this phrase is usually accompanied by sever intoxication and desperation.

when you're eating something, but it's hot/very spicy, and potentially harmful to the person eating it, but it's so good that you eat it anyway, and vanquish said food.

Shoulder pain is a pain in your shoulders wich makes you very uncomfortable.
This pain can be very painful or can be just irritated.

A person or task that is irritating, challenging, or annoying, usually more so than it has to be.
I am a medic and every two years I have to get recertified. It's an unnecessary pain in the ass, because I have to file about 10 million papers and every two years they change it, and it's pointless anyways because I'm obviously not going to suddenly forget how to do my job.
