This is masturbation for a special purpose - to test physical attraction to a prospective significant other. While masturbating, you think of the other person. If you are able to finish with only this mental stimulation, then you can be satisfied that you are attracted to the person physically, independent of their personality or their feelings towards you. When I'm bored, I go "transmitter testing". This generally refers to me picking a random VHF frequnecy and transmitting music over it. Because I have a Vertex VX-150 as well as a 35-watt VHF amplifier attached to it the range is about 20 or miles, depending on if I am transmitting at full power or fractional power levels. I like to chose frequencies that are not being used, generally its a business radio service frequency or Marine VHF channel. I have however, transmitted over weatheradio (162.400 to 162.550 MHz) channels are that really pisses people off.
This is all, of course, illegal.
Guy who lives next to me: "How come all I hear on my weatheradio is Jimi Hendrix and Men At Work?"
Me: "I'm just transmitter testing"

Similar to definition #1, but instead used to determine whether milk is safe to use. The sniff test is again largely used by students or others that only occasionally go to the shop.
Shit, I went to baste my pie but the milk's off. If only I'd done the sniff test then I wouldn't have to wash my pie.

Tests that you take in May of your senior and junior year depending on the course either SL or HL.
Are graded on a scale from 1-7 and a 4 is needed on average for all your tests to get the IB diploma.
This diploma has no affect on your life or college admissions since you are already accepted by the time you take these tests.
And its like fucking impossible to score 7s on IB tests.
I like how people brag that they get all 5s on their AP tests and ask me "So have you gotten all 7s on your Ib tests?"
