Topdeck Mode

The state in a card game such as Magic: The Gathering where a player has no cards in hand, and must rely purely on the card they draw each turn.

Why are you looking at me for responses? Can't you see I'm clearly in topdeck mode?

Autistic mode

Originated from the science-fiction anime and manga Ghost In The Shell, wherein brain-computer interfaces are used by the everyman to communicate, get information and the like, much like we use smartphones today. They're also in use by military and law enforcement. They need to ensure that they cannot be detected from EM emissions, or hacked (having their senses manipulated, or bodies remote-controlled), both of which would be devastating to an operation. To avoid this, they turn off all external communications, entering autistic mode.

"On my mark, we sync clocks and go autistic."
"Despite being in autistic mode, the soldiers lost their brain-optical nerve connection during operation. The only reasonable explanation we can draw is a virus."

Dragon Mode

An astronomical level of inebriation in which the subject commits a virtually unstoppable series of social atrocities. Biting, tackling, screaming (read: singing), breaking, and sitting upon are commonly employed by individuals in Dragon Mode. Not attainable by average alcoholics as this level of inebriation often results in blackouts.

When my roommate got home and began playing the guitar and singing(?) at the top of his lungs at 3am I knew he was drunk. When he burst through my door, jumped on my bed and tried to bite my nipple off, I realized he was in Dragon Mode.
