The phenomenon in which a person begins to see the cold, the snow and the gray sky as beautiful. Often they will describe the cold as "invigorating", the snow as "crystal blue" and the frigid season as "cozy". The use of these descriptors for the early months of the year is, in fact, diagnostic for this malady. The only effective treatment is a move to a warmer clime.

The safest, most politically correct holiday in the world. Of course, that's assuming you live somewhere that they have winter....
Some people are still not used to the term, mistaking it for other holidays, as seen in the example below.
JOE: "Merry Unspecified Winter Holiday, George!"
GEORGE: "Did I just hear you wish me a merry Christmas? I'M CALLIN' THE COPS, YOU DIRTY LITTLE...!"

Yesterday was nice but today is a winter cock block.
Winter clothes such as jackets, pompom snow hats and baseball caps, worn instead of impressive winter gear such as overcoats, plain skullcaps and deerstalker hats. So called because such winter gear is typically worn by gay guys or pansies.
Because gay fellows or pansies are denied liability insurance, they are only entitled to wear homo winter gear such as winter jackets and pompom snowhats or baseball caps. Homo winter gear does not require liability insurance.
"I'm sorry, Kenny," said the claims examiner, "but because you cannot afford liability insurance due to the big H-shaped hole in your wall, you may only wear homo winter gear, such as a winter jacket and a baseball cap or even a pompom snow hat. I know you'll look like a pansy, but that's the way it is."
