G sus

A major G triad in which, generally, the third of the chord is replaced by the upper neighbor or fourth in the scale. A G sus chord consists of a Root (G), a fourth (C), and fifth (D).
A G sus chord gives a feeling of anticipation, and a feeling of resolution is achieved when the fourth of the chord is resolved back to the major third.

The progression is Am, C and G sus

Beauty sus

The opposite of Beauty bias, where the attractiveness of a person makes you more suspicious about their true character, usually causing you to act more closed off or cold around that person than usual because of their beauty, thus the sus.

Friend: “Do you have something against them? Is there some kind of beef going on that I don’t know about?”

You: “Nothing really, I just don’t trust them. Beauty sus I guess, they’re just too hot to not be some kind of freak if you ask me.”

Sus-hat

A hat typically worn daily by certain female Talmud teachers. It can be either crocheted or knitted. The hat covers the tops of one's ears and the hair (if it is short enough to go inside).

Person 1: What are you knitting?
Person 2: I'm not knitting, I'm *crocheting* a Sus-hat.
