an instant VALIDATION and IDENTIFCATION
The criminal charges, and/or jail time - fails to impeed the star. Instead it enriches the star to an entire new level of fame, money, and like-ability.
the criminal charges didn't hurt trump, they helped him..by reaching a brand new demographic of voters.. we are seeing the Martha Stewart effect in action.
A phenomenon when someone is so obnoxious about a piece of media that it makes it seem unappealing to others, regardless of its actual quality.
This guy is so obnoxious about Ace Combat to the point that others think it's mediocre at best. The Biz Effect make them dislike it.

When a person seems invisible or unheard in group functions and only seems to be interacted with in one on one conversations.
