necklace of oppression

Usually seen in the form of a ‘lanyard’. Worn by employees usually to show that they are an employee or as it contains a metric for security or monitoring i.e. identity card/swipe card.

It’s how corporations tag their employees.

The supervisor walked over waving her lanyard, thinking it made her look important. She didn’t realise that it wasn’t a badge of authority but rather it was a necklace of oppression.

oppression-erection

The arousal, physical AND/OR mental, that a male feels when exerting privilege and oppressing a female.

"I opened a door the other day for a woman. With my OPPRESSION-ERECTION!"

"That 'heterosexuality is stockholm syndrome' meme gave me such an oppression-erection."

systemic oppression

Basically racism for everyone no matter the race and sexism no matter the sex. It's real fun. Ask John why.

Person A: Can I get some candy?
Person B: Sorry you just going to sell it with cocaine in it.
Person A: Is it because I'm of spanish decent and a male that I have cocaine in my back pocket? That's systemic oppression!

intersectional oppression

When oppressive forces like military or police try to be progressive or worldly, not realizing that doing so is innately impossible and the contradiction just ends up satirizing themselves. Prominent examples include police learning to meditate or drone operators wearing hijabs.

I hear the military is teaching its new recruits about critical race theory! That's so rad.
Dude, that's not rad at all. It's cringy af to see how agents of state violence learning crit theory. How clueless are they?
Hey, intersectional oppression is a step is better than unenlightened brutality. Maybe this will help them realize how they're all pawns and expedite the obsolescence of the state?
