Many people's dreams are so complex they can't tell if they mean anything or not.
If something really important is about to happen
(I.E. you might find your soul mate by chance the next day)
the dream will be clearer, more realistic, and the meaning obvious.

Dreams occur during which your body is in a state peace most commonly known as sleep.
When you sleep your mind makes up scenarios in your head of mostly whats been bothering you or what your thinking about a lot.
If you have nightmares a lot it could be because you are scared of something and your constantly thinking about it when you are awake.
You always have dreams, but sometimes you remember them and sometimes you don't.
I think about Jake all the time, I'm even starting to have dreams about him!

Either something really good or something really bad. You cannot remember the really good dreams, such as getting laid, but the bad ones that entail you having your manhood removed will stick with you for days. See: nightmare

no but actually, dreams are supposed to keep your brain aware and store your memories when you sleep.
