The name derives from the name of Arthur Fonzarelli, star of the sitcom "Happy Days," who is the epitome of leather-jacket-wearing cool guys.

When hitting or tapping on an electronic device of some kind suddenly solves what ever it was that was preventing it from working properly, or changing the song on the jukebox to Elvis Presley's Hound Dog.
