Common Sense

Knowledge that is common only amongst those who have some...

It's common sense (c.s.)...

-Not to tailgate. (Not c.s. if you've never ran into someone else's trunk.)
-Not to lean over a rail. (Not c.s. if you haven't leaned over and busted your face before.)
-Not to feed the wild animals. (Not c.s. unless you're missing a hand or two.)

Common Sense

Traditional: Traditional logic that will lead you and everyone else to the same conclusion and action

Politically: Involves preaching on graves and shoving dead children in your face to get their political policy to get passed. Traditional common sense is thrown out the window in favor of irrational emotional appeal

Traditional: Common sense dictates ff I stick my finger into the fire it will get burnt
Politically: ZOMG THINK OF ALL THE DEAD CHILDREN BAN EVERYTHING BECAUSE MUH FEELINZ IT IS COMMON SENSE REFORM. MOMS DEMAND COMMON SENSE REFORMS DEMANDS IT

It's Common Sense

When this quote is said the speaker acts as a complete douchebag and make the person you are talking to feel like a complete dumbass. Can be said even when the subject is NOT common knowledge.

Student (on exam): "Teacher, we never learned how to find the graph of a logarithmic equation."

Teacher: "Well, it's common sense really."

Student (thinking): douchebag

Common Sense

1) The sense of logical reasoning and problem solving skills as applied to practical situations that all inteligent beings should and usually do have. Whether they actually use it is another issue.

2)A pamphlet written by none other than Thomas Paine prior to the American Revolution. It railed against British policies in it's colonies, and got many colonists (the intelligent and/or educated ones who could read, anyway) to question British rule of America. This, of course, was yet another paving stone on the road to revolution and the creation of the United States of America as we know it today.

1) "You don't need education to know that's stupid... just use your common sense."

2) The man read Common Sense by Thomas Paine. Then, he decided to go burn his stamps and not buy any more British tea.

Common Sense

The thing that humanity needs in order to survive. Instead, we have certain people with no common sense (Logan/Jake Paul, Lil Tay, and many other human beings). To put it in simple words, it is a power that could save humanity yet no one has it.

John: Bob, do you know where the fiction novels are? Bob: QuiEt THis bE Ta Liberry. John: Man, you have no Common Sense, considering the fact that you are a librarian.
