Zi Effect

It is the effect applied to someone who becomes a go-to person for people who are not happy with their relationship or generally depressed. Often the vent of someones emotions.

It's also used sarcastically for people who think highly of themselves.

Person A: "Man, people go to me everytime they need advice about their partners or when they're feeling down. I get a boost of serotonin when they listen to me."

Person B: "Sounds like you got the Zi Effect on you."

Kangaroo Effect

A social phenomenon where individuals or groups expend more effort and resources when progressing slowly towards a goal, as opposed to when moving swiftly and decisively. This mirrors the biological quirk of kangaroos, who use more energy to move slowly than they do at higher speeds due to their unique muscular and tendon structure.

The team experienced the Kangaroo Effect while working on the project; they were burning out during the planning phase, but once they started executing their tasks, they progressed much more efficiently.

The Carpenter Effect

When a person or persons find themselves inexplicably drawn either a trilby, glasses a scarf or all of the above. This person will then want to molest everything that moves. A known symptom of the Carpenter effect also includes blaring classical music from hidden speakers around your body, some may also find themselves compelled to provide a 'tuneful' accompaniment. They will look a bit silly.
