The Laotian word for a westerner. In Thai, the word is "farang"; however, in Lao and in NE Thailand, the word "mak see daa" is often used. The word is not meant to be derogatory.
1. To be happy that someone is in your presence.
2. To have a sexual desire for somebody just off of seeing them once.
