Chav

In simple terms the British working class version of a Redkneck. Usually associated with youths and hoodies as well as racism, hooliganism and antisocial behaviour.

A chav someone who dresses in lower designer sports brands and cheap attire from generic mass produce shops. They are proud and patriotic and are brought through the pub culture. They are extremely easily influenced and manipulated by media and find it very difficult not to become Hipsters.

As a Stereotype it has been blurred by the media to mix in other ethnicities especially when concerning anti social behaviour however it is mostly relevant to British working class Caucasians.

Originally Chava was the word used to identify someone with cheap knock off sports branded and Burberry clothing and gold jewellery but it was later on shortened to appropriate a catchy stereotype.

Chav

C.H.A.V - Council House Associated Violence

A Chav can typically come from a deprived background or has had a deprived upbringing, who feels the world owns them something for being brought up on a council estate, thus decides to lash out at people who appear better off than them. They seem to carry some kind of grudge and therefore has a violence attitude towards life, everything and anyone!! .

Chavs believe wearing their socks over their tracksuit bottoms is cool and wear caps because they’re normally butt ugly. They tend to be badly educated and sound extremely common.

Chav

Chav - Council house and violent
Usually used as a derogatory term to describe someone who is from a "rough" area or someone who is viewed as uneducated.

People seem to use the word chav to describe someone who is not from a "rich" or "posh" background.

Many people call someone a chav if they do something that isn't seen as a good or healthy thing to be doing, many people also associate being a chav with drugs, drinking and smoking.

Person 1: Have you seen the girl over there?
Person 2: Yeah, she's a chav, I saw her smoking a joint with the boys the other day.
Person 1: She's dull as fuck min.

chav

(n) Bilious invective directed at poor people by insecure, empty-headed 'readers' of 'Heat' magazine and the Daily Mail. An acceptable form of class snobbery for people who are too 'right-on' (or perhaps just too poor) to join a country club.

A concept invented by media cokeheads to give underpaid, overworked middle class bores something to look down on and prevent them rebelling against the people who sell them for pennies every single day of the year.

"Look at that Adrian. Some dirty chavs! I'm glad we've got our over-mortgaged little shoe-box and our Vauxhall Nova so we can see how we're different from them."

chav

chavs tend to think there " 'ard as balls" wich leads to how stupid they are. as balls arnt hard at all. they use idiotic phrases that nobody understands like "its the dogs bollacks" and use made up words as insults.
they tend to wear tracksuit trousers, that they probberly "nicked" from their local grocery store. they always want to fight but only when they have their friends with them.
the girls wear short skirts and have sex with anything that moves, even a street post if the wind is strong enough. they wear tight shirts and wear a ton of make up, but it still dosnt hide their "mingin'" faces.

chav

Pejorative term, typically employed by timid middle-class teens to describe their poorer, more aggressive working-class brethren.

Its use often reflects both a fear of its target and a deeply unpleasant sense of social superiority. Parallel fears of relative poverty can be found throughout history, from worries about Victorian street urchins to contempt for medieval peasants.

Its users arguably deserve every bit of grief they get from those they describe as such.

"We'd better go round the other way - there's a load of chavs stood outside the offie."
