Fake Friend

Someone who ignores you when they're around more 'popular' people.
Someone who only talks to you when they need something.
Someone who ignores you when they're in a group of people.
Someone who tells you they can't hangout, but they hangout with someone else instead.
Someone who never invites you to anything, unless they can't find anyone else to go.
Someone who, without a reason, gossip about you and make fun of you, but say that it was just a joke.
Someone who doesn't answer your texts when you ask them important questions.
Someone who fake laughs when they talk to you.
Someone who tells secrets to another friend, but doesn't tell them to you.

Most of all, someone who does these things, but then when it's just you two, they pretend like nothing's changed. Then they want you to act the same around them, and whether they realize what they do or not, they won't apologize.

If 4 or more of these things apply to one of your 'friends' then they are a fake friend

Real friend: hey you seem down lately, what's up?
You: nothing, just that she always ignores me around other people.
Real friend: What a bitch...don't worry about it. She's a fake friend.
You: You think?
Real friend: for sure. Look it up on urban dictionary if you don't believe me.

Friend of Mara

A term used similarly to Friend of Dorothy, a Friend of Mara is a code word used to describe someone in the LGBTQ+ community. The name "Mara" comes from the 2018 She-Ra reboot.

Toxic friends

When one comes to the realization that their friends are not good for him/her. These so-called friends often backstab, gossip, lie, act selfish, use, belittle and even manipulate and are taking more than giving back to the friendship. Sadness and resentment is felt toward the toxic friends, and breaking away from these toxic friends is a must.

"So Claire, how is it going with you and Mary?"
"Don't remind me. She's a loser. She uses me and she's such a manipulator."
"Who needs her!"
"I know. I'm sick of having toxic friends. They ALWAYS bring me down. No thank you."

Dad Friend

A friend similar to the mom friend. A dad friend is typically more fun and gives meaningful advice in most situations. Won't always be the nicest, but is still a friend that cares deeply about you.

Dillon really is a dad friend, even if him and the mom friend don't get along.

Dark Friend

A “Dark Friend” is someone who has sold their soul to the devil (or at least thinks they have) in return for “kick backs” from Satan.

Dark Friends socially prey on people and take great pleasure in creating sorrow and mischief in their lives.

They are usually charming when young and many even have a clever, sense-of-humor.

Dark friends are different than Trolls in that they believe in an evil higher power.

Most trolls are “Atheists” or “Born-Again Christians. “

All Dark Friends take great pleasure in subtly seducing people…with drugs, sex, and decadent views on life. They enjoy seeing the gradual downfall of the people they have “taken under the wing” by destroying their positive relationships, getting them addicted to drugs, etc. and other bad behavior.

Dark Friends will take you to a “Girl’s Night Out” to get you drunk and cheat on your significant other. They are jealous of and despise “Love” in all its forms and focus on the “ultimately hollow” sensual aspect of Sex, Clothing, Jewelry and the latest gadgets and fashions.

Most Dark Friends usually end up alone and bitter in their last years with few people wanting to have anything to do with them from their lifetime’s worth of nastiness.

Perry is one mean dark friend, he poisoned my cat, fucked my dog and keyed my car.

Best Friend

A best friend is someone who is there for you through thick and thin. It's someone who listens and understands you. Someone you can call anytime about anything you feel you need to 'tell' or 'vent'. It's someone who will stand up for you in the times when you need it most, keep your secrets close, and someone you can trust with your life. They will support you in any decision you make even if it's hard for them. It's someone who is there for you as much as they can be and does and says whatever they can to up your mood in down times. You can be your COMPLETE and total self around this person without feeling uncomfortable. You can say or do anything, and your relationship never changes. Someone who literally feels sent from heaven to make your life that much easier. Someone who will do almost anything for you as you would do for them, and someone who loves you no matter what kind of stupid things you do. This person will always want the best for you, as you will always want for them. And as much as people change- Your love with a REAL best friend will never fade through all the phases of life and problems that come a long with it.

When I go through hard times, there is only one person who is there for me no matter what and that actually makes me better, that's my best friend.
