An event liberals compete in. The competitors try to outpass fellow liberals by saying a more "powerful" liberal statement.

Person 1: "We created a women-only programming online course."
Person 2: "That sounds misogynistic, why would women need a separate course?"
Person 1: "Oh please don't start Liberal Olympics now!"

limousine liberal

Wealthy person, who adopts the cause of the downtrodden and then goes back to real estate; carries a connotation of hypocrisy; see bobo, bicoastal, parlor pink.

The limousine liberals oppose vouchers but send their kids to private school.

koolaid liberal

A person of the of a politically liberal mindset who appears to depend heavily on the opinions or perspectives of other liberals, without questioning the validity of those opinions or perspectives...

1. He's a perfect example of a koolaid liberal.

2. A perfect example of a koolaid drinking liberal.

3. The media is full of that koolaid liberal speak today.

liberal tolerance

A twist on liberals claims that they are morally superior because they are tolerant of everyone. In actuality, many modern liberals are anything but tolerant of others - especially if they have opposing views or happen to be a white male (straight or gay). They also resort to personal attacks, slander, death threats, and even violence. Of course, the very "liberals" who this represents this will claim it's a "conservative conspiracy theory" as well as modern liberals who do not wish to criticize the radicals in their party.

The "peaceful protesters" showed their liberal tolerance on the reporters and police.

Pinko = old Cold-war era term for a lefty. Not a full on Red (communist) but close (Pink).

Obama's policies demonstrate he is a pinko liberal.

Battered Liberal

A term coined by conservative talkshow host Rush Limbaugh to describe the way that liberal voters are constantly promised numerous things by elected Democrats despite their history of using them for votes(this is especially true of ethnic minorities) yet making their lives more miserable in much the same way that a battered wife is promised compassion from her abusive husband only to have him hit her again, yet she keeps coming back to him since she feels there is nowhere else to turn.

The Battered Liberal still thinks that Hillary Clinton will fix the country despite failing at Hillary Care when her husband was in office, supporting communist nations like China, and her endless collection of pants suits

twitter liberal

n. Someone who, after seeing an anti-conservative trend on twitter, tweets with the hash-tag in question with no clear knowledge of anything political. Usually will include in the tweet something along the lines of: misspelled words, inaccurate statements, blind praise of a political figure (notably praise for Obama for being black), etc. A majority of these people give other liberals who actually have valid opinions a bad name and only tweet with the hash-tag as a means to gain followers due to their shallowness.

Molly: "Oh my God! I can't wait for Obama to come give me free abortion pills!"

Joe: "Molly, shut up. The president doesn't have that power, stop being a twitter liberal."
