Smart Joke

A term you use when a joke you use doesn't get any laughs or reaction. usually because there was too much thought into it went over your audiences heads. It is used as a reversal to save face and insult those around you because you made a crappy joke.

"....well thats just because she's really a man." (silence)... "oh sorry, smart joke."

"no? no one got that? smart joke!"

When an inside joke spreads to so many people’s understanding and it becomes no longer exclusive.

A Philadelphia Area expression, used by residents in the Great Philadelphia area meaning rolling a blunt of weed and then smoking it

Person 1- "I'm bout to stop at the In & Out to grab a dutch."
Person 2- "What you 'bout to do, crack a joke?"
Person 1- "Yeah, I got that good good."

inside joke

a joke that is formed with a select few people. Later when a certain word is shouted (like ex. cheese grater) the people "inside" will laugh hystericly while others will only be confused.

Joke in a hat

This is a major insult only used when one has run out of the normal insults and needs something that will incompass all of the other insults into one big one. One can spice things up by substituting other words at the end such as, joke in a hobo's sock, joke in a rabbits ear, joke in a paper bag or even joke in a goats butt crack..ext.

Me- Alvin can i borrow your car tomorrow bro?
Alvin- No man i need it to take my girlfriend to a play.
Me- Your a "Joke in a hat" you dork.

I asked billy bob to come to my ex girlfriends birthday party and that "joke in a sock" said he had to study.
