The twin ring can be described as:
A ring that looks like two rings. In close relation with the double ring. This ring is less popularly known as the disconnected ring. The ring has two main variations, disconnected and floating. The disconnected variation is a ring with a clear space between in the middle usually between two 5gemstones.
The floating variation is a ring with connected materials usually gemstone(s). Either the gemstone or the metal appears to be floating because of an empty space in the ring.The empty space is usually in the ring it self but can also be beneath/above/next to gemstone(s).
The meaning of the ring:
When given by a person to itself it symbolizes a person with the desire to write their own fate.
When given by another person it symbolizes the will to write the fates of the two people together. In other words that person wants to stay in, you're life and is to be trusted upon.
A twin rings with hearths also has a different meaning.
If there is one heart it symbolizes self-love.
If there are two hearts it symbolizes a bond and fate bounded by the love between the giver and the receiver of the ring.
This ring is can also be paired with gem stones that symbolise love, for an even deeper romantical meaning.
