Forming a band in a way that is considered to be unethical, this could be (but is not limited to), a record label grouping good looking music prodigies together to form a band, genetically creating band members or kidnapping various people and asking them to join your band.
The term got its name from Murdoc Niccals, a fictional member of the band Gorillaz, who basically met one of his band mates after putting him in a coma, kidnapped another, and found their 4th member in a fed ex crate when she was 10 (she mailed herself to them).

1. (slang, Australia) The act of cyberstalking and investigating personal information about someone you know.
Person 1: That guy is really invested into finding information about his best mate’s sister.
Person 2: I think he’s going to pull a Taranto!
Meaning to tell someone to “get gone”, usually used after someone tells you they have feelings for you.
To pull a Riley means to tell someone to get gone (get lost, go away)

The act of cheating by writing the answers on your hand. Usually resulting in being caught.
A: He got caught.
B: Yeah, that's what I heard. Heard he was pulling a palin.
A: Word. He got ripped apart for it.
