A style of bass guitar that originates from the 80's where the bass run has homosexual tendencies.
Generally, slap bass forms the basis of gay bass and it tends to be short, quick, repetitive runs that are quirky and makes people want to get on the dance floor to perform unorthodox dance moves.
The bassist can complete the 'Gay Bass' look by being shirtless or wearing spandex-like attire.
Luke: 'Is that gay bass in that song?'
Christian: 'That is some hardcore gay bass, I need to bust a move to this. Fancy a trip to the local liberal-minded establishment?'
Luke: 'Sure, as long as there aren't too many Lib Dems in there.'

Someone who is a granola-eating, hemp-wearing, pot-smoking, incense-burning vegetarian, who likes to quote Proust but doesn't really understand him, doesn't like movies but only likes "films", and will complain about the evils of capitalism but turn around and spend $500 on ugly glasses frames. Named after the bass player in a band who thinks himself better than the other members and doesn't really associate with them.

The concept that some type of performance, idea, behavior or technology is so difficult to understand that it could either be genuinely incredible, or simply useless.
i.e. According to my knowledge, John Myung (the bassist for Dream Theater) is very good at bass because i can't tell what he is playing.
Operation Iraqi Freedom was apparently a very strategic and valiant effort to do something somewhere, but it was all just a bass solo to me.
Since Joe had to scramble at the last minute to ready his 30 page thesis, he bass soloed his way through the presentation the next morning.
I went to a bass solo convention. nuff said.

Intelligent drum and bass (IDB) is a subgenre of drum and bass, incorporating styles from chillout, jazz and ambient.
Atmospheric pads and deep sub-basslines are key parts of IDB. Rhodes and other jazz-style instruments are also found in IDB.
LTJ Bukem, Blame, and Photek are pioneers of the intelligent drum and bass subgenre.

Used to describe a sexual position used in foreplay where the man stands behind the woman, with his left hand on her left nipple, and his right hand on her vagina.
The man then proceeds to manipulate both parts of her body with the first and second fingers on each hand in a rhythmic fashion, ensuring that her nipple is gently squeezed between both fingers.
The position and action simulates that experienced by a double bass player.

To Slap the bass, originally playing the bass guitar really well. Can be interpreted as a motivational phrase. It is possible to slap the bass too hard, resulting in failure.

A large cannon, typically wielded by a pony DJ, That uses high frequency noise and extremely fast paced bass to carve out large areas of land that people ( or ponies ) that pissed them off recently stood on.
