The term "bi lesbian" may be used by someone who is primarily attracted to women but feels their occasional attraction to men is relevant to their identity, as they have experienced both lesbophobia and biphobia. The term may also be relevant to some femme non-binary people. The term is often rejected by those concerned with policing queer language, some of whom feel that the terms "bisexual" or "lesbian" are somehow undermined by the existence of bi lesbians.
