A condition caused when a person plays too much Tetris. It is considered a psychological habit.
There are two symptoms of Tetris Effect, which occur without conscientiously thinking of it:
1. A person can't help but notice how neatly objects in the real world could be stacked together, and imagines a sort of Tetris game in which the objects are stacked.
2. A person visualizes games of Tetris or Tetris scenarios when they daydream, project mental images, or close their eyes.
Note: Such an effect occurs with various repetitive or puzzling tasks, most commonly Chess, Polarium, and Guitar Hero.
Fisher: Dude, do you see that?
Lynch: Yeah, that Popsicle Stand would perfectly fill that space between those two parked cars!
Fisher: What? No, look at those two chicks making out!
Lynch: Oh. Yeah.
Fisher: I think you play Tetris too much.
Lynch: Nah, it's just a little Tetris Effect.

Bindel Effect
Named after Julie Bindel's infamous "put men in concentration camps" quote. Similar to the Streisand Effect, this is the name for when a shithead SJW says something that makes them sound like a psycho or asshole, then claims it was a joke or removes it from the internet to cover their saggy ass after receiving backlash from everyone who isn't a dick. It is prominent with certain types of nut-jobs as well, but for different reasons.
"Did you hear what Clara said? Apparently she believes everyone who's anti-feminism should be sterilized."
"...I thought that was a joke."
"Ah, the Bindel Effect strikes again."

A dangerous social syndrome in which young, unsuspecting girls continue to find themselves attracted to an older, shifty boy, despite his obvious intentions to use them physically. The syndrome seems to be so far developed as to involve actual feelings of respect and admiration on the part of the young female victim.

A fabricated term coined by the AAMC to explain an "increase" in medical school applications in 2020 when in reality 1) Completed medical school applications didn't increase 2) A recession prompted increase in higher education 3) The AAMC caused families to get COVID-19 by refusing to waive the MCAT or administer it virtually. So damage control.
The AAMC made up the Fauci Effect so students can take the MCAT and get on a ventilator a week later!
