1. a vehicle that travels across water
2. wanting one person and another to be in a relationship
1. Hey, did you see that ship the other day? 🤔
2. i totally ship ___ and ___! they're so cute together! 😄
a common thing in the fandoms, that basically means a need to a couple, or in some cases more fictional characters to have a romantical relationship. Probably comes from "relationship" or in a reference to a ship(romantic feelings) drifting on sea(relationship), and when it's sailing, the couple loves each other, but if it's sinking, their love is ending.
Ships have a names, that are shortcuts from characters that we want to be together. Mostly those names are from beginning of the character's names, and the one who's more dominating(seme in our opinion, is on beginning, and the one who's not (uke), in the ending, but it can be in different arrangement
Except for that, you'll need few more words to fully understand that, such as OTP, wich means that this is a couple we want to be together the most, and NOTP - the least.
1.
-Do you ship FrUk?
-It's not my OTP. but yes, I ship that.
2.
-Ooh, the ship is sailing!
-I don't think so. They've just met.
3.
-I heard that you were crying all night long. What happened?
-Jarco had drown..
To ship something means you can deal with it, believe it, accomodate the idea of it.
Me: Can you believe Selena and the Weeknd are a thing?
You: Yeah, I can ship that.
Usually a sort of fanfictional pairing between one character and another, usually using game characters. Some people admit their ships are general brick nuggets, while others will wanna join that ship as a threesome, also called, "overfangirling."
Man, I know this is weird, but after this roleplay on Roblox I ship Villager X Pacman.
An appropriate substitute for the swear word shit.
When you say it, just before the "t" comes out, replace it with a "p".
Similar: crap, shoot, dung, dang it, damn it, shit
Guy 1: Holy ship! My pencil fell on the ground again!
Guy 2: Hey, you just swore!
Guy 1: No, I didn't. I said "ship", not shit!
Guy 2: But you just said the s-word!
Guy 1: Ship.
A term used to describe a want for two people to get into a romantic/sexual relationship or have and interaction of such. The word is commonly used in fandoms such as Harry Potter, Animes, and basically any movie where two people interact.
Girl 1: "Okay, okay, so I was, once again, watching Top Gun and I can't bring myself to ship Maverick and Charlie! Like! There's no chemistry!"
Girl 2: "Really? Who do you ship then?"
Girl 1: "This is gonna seem odd, but I ship Maverick and Iceman so hard! They would've made a perfect haters-to-lovers slowburn if the movie wasn't made in the 80's. You've got to watch it again and see the way they look at eachother! Heck, even look up videos of the ship!"
Girl 2: "Okay, fine. But that ship actually makes so much sense!"
Fat out of shape, white people on vacation sunburnt as hell covered in white pasty sunscreen, wearing tie-dyed shirts that are oversized that don’t fit them or has has a destination logo on them with baggy, swimsuits, and wearing Jesus sandals with socks that are soaking wet and disgusting and probably been clean properly in a week that probably stuffed their faces full of buffet and open bar for a week straight
