Freaking Amazing band that I recently started listening to. I like most of their songs, but some favorites are: The Wicker Man, The Trooper, Hallowed be Thy Name, Number of the Beast, Afraid to shoot strangers, etc

A torture/execution device from Medieval Germany, which consists of an iron coffin lined with spikes on the inside of the doors. The doors were closed SLOWLY so that the accused criminal would suffer maximum pain and anguish, sometimes for days, before finally dying of the resulting puncture wounds and suffocation.
Legend has it that a German coin counterfeiter was sentenced to the Iron Maiden. For the last two days of his life, the forger cried in vain while the spikes went through his body.

A fucking great metal band. Im getting Peice of mind on vinyl soon woo, and powerslave. Mmmm vinyl. My ambition in life is to get all their albums. There best songs are probably, Children of the damned, The wicker man, Fear of the dark or the trooper.

The Kings of Metal... Metallica began WAY after Maiden. The original Iron Maiden formed in 1976!!! Metallica are NOTHING compared to the might of Iron Maiden!!1

Gods with guitars (And drums). If you haven't heard of them, get the songs '2 Minutes To Midnight', Aces High, Hallowed Be Thy Name, The Number Of The Beast, Powerslave, and go on from there.

The most kickass metal band ever. Dispite many lineup changes, they still rock from their first album in 1980 to The Dance of death album (2003) They have inspired all 1985+ Heavy metal/death metal bands. Influenced mainly by Judas Preist their music has a style like none other. The current lineup is:
