Linkin Park

"The biggest misconception about us is that we're just a rock band," describes Linkin Park's guitarist Brad Delson. "We think our music is a cross-section of many genres; a hybrid of what the six of us have grown up on." The title of the band's debut album and its original band name, Hybrid Theory, describes both the six-piece's artistic goals and its approach to making music. Linkin Park's sound, a melting pot of heavy alternative rock, hip-hop, and electronic flourishes, is utterly their own, an accomplishment strengthened by the band's remarkably powerful, organic songwriting. But almost everything about Linkin Park has been unforced, including their Southern California origins.

Linkin Park: you either love 'em or you hate 'em. There's no inbetween.

Linkin park.

The worst excuse for a "Metal" band in the history of the world

Pop Rock group who sing about the same things, how they feel hurt, how they are misunderstood....Just like their fans think their lives are like.

They are millionaires and still moan and say they are sad...to get more money.

Fans are usually 13 year old "skaters" who think its hardcore and non mainstream...

Pathetic...Hopefully they "breakup" like all other boy bands

LP Fan "Did you go to the Linkin Park gig"

Me "No i went to see Manowar and Slayer instead"

LP Fan "Who?"

Me "Oh you know , bands that are METAL!"

LP Fan "Probably not as metal as LP"

Me "Fuck off you retard, go back with the cattle"

Linkin park.

A band that redefines, and recreates something new, that people acually like and sounds good, instead of crap like Country-Rap. Will beat the snott out of you when compared to crap.

I will Linkin Park you if you keep talking like that to me.

I like to Linkin Park this movie.

Linkin Park

Originated in South California. A band made up of six hard working musicians, (Mike Shinoda, Chester Bennington, Brad Delson, Joe Hahn, Rob Bourdon, and Dave Farell, AKA 'Phoenix') . These six men created two multi-platinum albums, the first being 'Hybrid Theory', including the well-known tracks, 'One Step Closer', 'Crawling', and 'In The End'. Their sophmore album, 'Meteora', contains the hits, 'Somewhere i Belong', 'Numb', 'From The Inside', and 'Breaking The Habit'. Their music contains heavy guitars, talented drum beats, nicely put together deejay skills, incredible lyrics, and two diverse, yet compatible vocalists.

Linkin Park headlined the Projekt Revolution Tour this year! They were awesome!

Linkin Park

A talented band that is in the center of the conflict between whether certain genres of music are "tasteful" and what aren't. It is sad that there is all this arguing over whether certain bands are talented, or whether they are "shitty" compared to the likes of other bands because their style of music became popular to a particular audience (which I think is completely unfair to say; does being played on MTV automatically make a band bad?). If you like how it sounds, than what does it matter how popular they are, or the stereotypes hung over their fans?

Linkin Park has talent, so does Converge. Why not listen to both?

Linkin Park.

One of the most famous rock groups today. Subjects to critics online that no one knows.

I'm a Linkin Park fan, and I don't see the whole point of dissing them online. Keep your opinion to yourselves, you don't see me dissing your favorite band do you!?

Linkin park.

A band isulted by losers who know nothing about them and don't understand that you can't form a good opinion on a band by listening to them for ten seconds. Their music is a mix of rock, old school hip hop, and electronic vibes.

"I heard 'Numb.' Linkin Park sucks."
"Listen to more of their music, you'll like it."
