Slang for light infantry, paratroopers or any other dismounted grunt. Refers to the sound that their bones make when being crushed by the tracks of a tank or APC as they are run over.

Using the same theory as a wedgie. The crunchy is the next step in this ever evolving torture medium.
A hand full of gravel, 1/2 to 1 1/4 inch rocks, are inserted into the back of the victims underwear. Then the underwear is pulled up from the rear. The victim is taken off there feet if this is done properly and blood should pour from the ass.
This can also be combined with the atomic wedgie, the result would obviously be the atomic crunchy.

Used to describe someone when they are being grouchy, crabby, irritable, etc. A much softer way to call someone out on it and describe their mood.
"Have you seen your brother today? That fools been going around frowning at everyone and making rude remarks. Why's he being so crunchy?"
