pop-up boonga

A Polynesian/Pacific Islander who hides behind a fence in South Auckland, and then "pops up" without warning to throw a large rock onto the road. These creatures often work in packs and one should drive quickly through such areas to minimise a "pop-up" attack.

"Mate, I'm heading down to Otara today to pick up some weed."
"Oh, be careful for Pop-up boongas mate, they might throw rocks at you"

pop-up add

A real shitty way to advertize products on the interenet. As your on the net, it comes out of nowhere and can freeze your computer.

Why don't these people who make pop-up adds realize that people hate their adds so much, they buy blockers to stop them from coming?

Pops up anytime

A boner that pops up at anytime that the boner pleases, generally when most inconvenient.

*guy taking a math test*
*boner pops up*
"Hey man, want some help solving for x?"
"Nah boner, I'm good"
*boner retracts*
*thinking* It just pops up anytime doesn't it?

Dude, yesterday I was on Facebook then Kim, you remember that red-haired Kim from HighSchool?! She Bang Pop-Up'ed me. Dude, after 30 minutes of her trying to Bookbang me, I went over to her place then get laid. She totally want that to happen. She deserved it.

made it pop up

to make something happen; to fulfill something...to make come true.

Terrence: How did you and Yung Joc decided to work together in this album?

Slim: We were at a club talking about singing together, and we just "made it pop up."

pop-up headlights

Pop up headlights, also known as a retractable headlight or simply "pop-ups", are a mechanism pulls down the headlight assembly so it is hidden and flush with the lines of the car. This aids in aerodynamics and asethics. When the headlights are turned on, they flip up or "pop up" out the hood/bumper, allowing the bulbs to illuminate the road.

This was a common feature on many import cars such as the Miata and Mk3 Supra and even exotics like 80s Ferraris. However, they were banned from new car designs in the early 2000s for pedestrian safety issues, such as like lack of DRL and also to meet newer fuel economy standards (poor aerodynamics). These could also break, causing more safety issues.

Person 1: Why doesn't that car have headlights?
Person 2: Dude that's a Mk3 Supra, it has pop-up headlights

pop-up fan

A person that supports a sportclub, artist or brand after a rare event.
They will only be fan for a short while, when the event is out of the media you`ll never see the person be fan unless there is another unusual event.

Event: Steve Jobs died

Reaction of the pop-up fan:
Wearing a black turtleneck shirt for the coming week & definitely all of the sudden wants all the apple products that are so "special" just because that was the last product of Steve Jobs.

Mainly tweeting a lot and not really putting their words to practice because they don't have enough money to buy their way in to every excitement they have.
