Old habits die hard

Phrase meaning that stopping learned behavior is almost impossible (i. e. only stopped after life). Famous through usage in the ending cinematic of 1994 PC-Classic System Shock and as title of a song from the 2004 romantic comedy-drama Alfie.

Hacking into yet another corporate network? Old habits die hard.

life sucks and then you die

Life sucks , then you die.But first life rapes you up the ass and slits your throat and leaves you to die. Then a gang comes along and beats the fuck out of you and takes your wallet. Then you get ran over repeatedly by a garbage truck. Then liberals tell you to be more sensitive. And then , if your lucky , you die.

Life's a bitch and she's back in heat...yup.. life sucks and then you die ...

we're all going to die

The disturbing but constant truth that life carries with it. Can be yelled at anyone and although its true, many people assume that the yeller is referring to a more pressing threat than time.

Ahh! We're all gonna die!

live by the sword, die by the sword

It means those who spend all their time seeking violence and trying to kill others are destined to find the violence they seek and die instead. It is meant as a warning to not seek fights, but to try to find peaceful resolutions to problems if at all possible (a sentiment that is too often forgotten and sorely needed in this world).

You hear about Blake? He thought he was all that and went to front with the guys in the barro. Even with his piece, he ended up fufilling the old saying, live by the sword, die by the sword.

Now I Can Die

A phrase used when you have accomplished everything you've set out to do. By uttering this phrase, you are implying that there is nothing else left for you to do except die.

And yes... it's just a figure of speech

"Dude, I just asked Marjorie out and she said yes! Now I can die."
