I see what you did there

Usually a sarcastic response to somebody who obviously thinks that they have been more clever than they actually have. Seen mostly in online forums; often abbreviated ISWYDT.

I know what you mean...

A variation of "that's what she said." Usually expressed with obvious knowledge, but in fact, they are taking your words completely out of context.

Sam: Are Tracey and Caleb expecting kids soon?
Leslie: No... they're just taking some time to get to know each other...
Sam: Ohh, I know what you mean...
Leslie: *confused stare*

I see what you did there

Sometimes used as a sarcastic response to a dumb trick. Or a trick meant for noobs.

-Guy1: Hey guys! If you post your credit card and social security number, this forum will out automatically censor it!

-Guy2: Okay... Wait! I see what you did there.

Just leave me alone, I know what I am doing

A phase used to express extreme anguish and anger caused due to disturbed state of mind because of constant nabbing from a person in power. Commonly used to shut up a person who is continuously giving order to do something while you are doing it.

Mark: Kimi, so you have to break before the speed breaker
Kimi: Just leave me alone, I know what I am doing

I see what you're talking about

When someone is saying something that you have either

A) No clue what the fuck they are talking about, or
B) No interest in it whatsover.

It is basically saying "Shut the fuck up" without offending the person talking. And hopefully, they will get the hint and shut the fuck up.

Example A:

"So, if you just take the Rotation Muffler and place it into the X-axis, then you have a complete circuit."

".............I see what you're talking about."

Example B:

"So yeah, she lost the baby, dude. She's heartbroken about it."

"......I see what you're talking about."

"............You're an asshole, dude."

i tell you what

chiefly southern, esp texan. added at the end of pretty much anything, esp to add exclamatory sense to a clause. has a somewhat cryptic meaning known only to southerners. so you non-hicks, stop trying.

Bill's car is so red, I tell you what!
