Action one takes when a problematic situation arises and there are no rational solutions present. The action is to hide at a reliable, safe location for approximately 5 minutes and then proceed to revisit the problematic scene once again with high hopes of everything being miraculously back to normal.
The transportation in LAX was a mess. The car and driver (arranged by client's office) from Barry Limo was not here upon arrival. That's when I called you and when Mr. Green called his office. There was a black SUV rampside that I asked the front desk about but she said that the driver was waiting for a different tail number (I verified that the tail number was not one of our other plane's tail numbers). There was really nothing we could do for him (I'd already asked Mr. Green if he wanted me to check on rental car availability which he declined). He appeared to be working it out with his office so we went back out to the plane. When we were walking back into the FBO a few minutes later, Mr. Green was getting into the black SUV that had by then pulled up to the gate to exit the ramp. I asked the CSR person at the front desk what was going on and she had no idea. In fact, she confirmed once again that the SUV was waiting for a different tail number and the pilot to the plane was standing at the counter. The pilot stated that his passenger was in the restroom. So basically, while she was in the restroom our passenger got in her SUV and drove off! At this point I pretty much went and hid in the pilot lounge because nothing good was going to come of being out in the lobby. I went back out to the lobby about 5 minutes later and everyone was gone and all was quiet so I guess things worked themselves out.

1. This maneuver is the act of a person who leaves the computer, especially during a serious situation or where that person may be needed, without announcement of 'brb' or any warning that he or she is departing for a lengthy period of time.
2. An engrossing conversation is transpiring and the person is engaged in the debate but then after minutes pass by and people are waiting on his response, there's no signs of life and methods show the person has been away from the keyboard for some time or doing something else while others wait. Several minutes to hours later, the person who has performed the Emmerich Maneuver will often type in 'back' as if to say he had declared all along he was gone.

An effective maneuver for when you have an extreme amount of intestinal gas causing pain or pressure. Usually this occurs after a first date, or an important event where you cannot be flatulent for an extended period of time.
To perform the maneuver, simply undress your lower half, sit on a toilet, and begin to slowly rock your body from side to side, bending over as far as you can, and holding for a moment at each side. Since your intestines are somewhat of a winding, circular structural path, this effectively helps the gas bubbles find their way out. Similar to the concept of how the Epley Maneuver treats Vertigo in the inner ear.
In 60 seconds of performing the Herbst Maneuver, the pain has subsided, I have lost two pant sizes, and can return class in time for the exam.

Happens when a male and female are engaged in intimate activities and the female is reluctant to take it to the final step. In act of desperation the male introduces his index finger up the female's rear hole in hopes of flipping a hidden switch in the female's brain and convince her to have sex with him. This strategy can also be used when frustration with a female's negativity has reached a very high point. Efficiency of this maneuver is yet to be proven.
