Spouse of a triathlete.
A triathlete is any person who was once human, but has now transformed into something super-human, and can no longer hang out with other mere mortals. They must spend all their spare time swimming, biking, running, and shaving themselves in order to keep their new-found sport god status. During this time, they are technically still married, but their wife/husband considers them dead due to their lack of normal human function.
Note: The spouse is only considered a triathlon widow during the time the triathlete is wasting all their spare time spent training, racing, shaving, or thinking about their multi-sport addiction in general.
I'm a triathlon widow this weekend. My husband is gone from our family for 3 days to do an Iron Man race 5 states away. Yes, he had to pay to be in it, and no he does not win anything.

A widow maker is an object that can kill men and therfore turn wives into widows.
The 'Widow Maker,' is a bong constructed by my friend Jonny and I by attaching a 3ft hoover pipe to increase chanber size for a bigger hit. This increased hit often left many good men paralised, or in some rare and tragic occasions, dead.

A sugar widow is a woman who was once a sugar baby, but has decided to leave the sugar bowl for "normal" relationships. Once she starts dating men her own age who are not financially well off, she ruins the relationships, citing "he's too cheap/doesn't give me an allowance" without realizing other women her age are able to have relationships and even marry just fine.
Once Mary turned 30 and realized her maternal clock is ticking down, she started looking for a husband as she wanted to start a family before it was too late. She realized she was a Sugar Widow since her standards were so high, only 0.1% of the men her age would qualify by their wealth, and competition for these select few men were very high.
