Rage Quit

Usually used in online videogames when a player gets killed so many times that he yells or "rages" at the computer monitor, which is usually followed by an alt+F4 or a "User has disconnected".

A Term used By runescape players when Someone is pking and eating (safing) constantly throughout the duel

Person A . Gets hp down to 52 *eats* to 67 *eats* again to 75+ and repeats
Person B . "dude... QUIT SAFING!!"

1. In certain circumstances, a company will find itself in a situation where it wants/needs to fire an employee but owes said employee a favor or wishes to save face for both parties. In this case, before the firing, the employee is given the opportunity to quit instead.

2. Euphemistic manner of referring to a forced resignation.

"John doesn't work here anymore? They didn't mention anything about firing him!"
"No, he got quit since they caught him in the bathroom with two hamsters, a bottle of KY, and the secretary from the front desk."

emo quit

an emo quit is when, a bit like rage quit, you quit a gathering or conversation because you are out of words and/or have been seriously humiliated.

emo quitting is most seen in movies, when the main character is sad or angry, and is slamming the door behind him.
