The Real Housewives of Covid is an oddly claustrophobic depiction of home life without hair salons, lunches with friends, gym bodies and those titillating references to extramarital flings!

Pre Covid Era

A period of time usually referring to late 2019 and the first two months of 2020 right before the Covid 19 Pandemic caused a nationwide lockdown in the United States starting Mid March of 2020.

I haven't seen my friends since the Pre Covid Era.

Covid Derangement Syndrome

Someone who is so obsessed with wearing masks and following covid guidelines to the extent they make their fear of covid other people's problem. Someone with covid derangement syndrome might yell at unmasked bystanders about their choice to wear a mask.

A convenient way to tell someone that you don't want to do something with them because you've 'been exposed' to Covid-19 virus, yet not feel bad about it at all.

"Dude, I can't go to your BBQ tonight. The cable guy hooked up my new router today and I've been exposed. I'll need to self-isolate for at least 2 weeks." This is a classic example of the covid cop-out

The consequence of using failed logic, unfounded hunches and unsubstantiated conclusions to determine when it would be 'safe' for a pandemic-stricken nation to resume customary operations.

Ignore the warnings of the scientific community: check.
Disregard evidence from the experience of other countries: check
Claim victory over the disease prematurely despite evidence to the contrary: check
Down-play the very real possibility of disease resurgence based on modelling analysis: check
Distort the facts in evidence in deference to political rather than ethical motives: check
Berate, disparage and demonize any dissenting opinion, opposition or critical analysis: check
