(Or grandpa shopping.) The practice of making a trip to the grocery store almost every single day and only buying food for one day's meals/snacks at a time, rather than shopping for the whole week, two weeks, or month. Often done by people who have a lot of free time on their hands - i.e. elderly retirees (hence the name), stay-at-home moms who are waiting for kids to get out of school, etc. This daily trip to the store is the main social event of their life.
When Claire had gone six months without a date, she was tempted to start granny shopping just for the increased chance of meeting somebody at the grocery store one day.

Going to Bars on busy nights such as Valentine’s Day to “shop” for someone else’s unwanted “Second Hand crap”.
Jacob was feeling lonely on Valentine’s Day, so he went downtown around midnight to do some “Thrift Shopping”.

also known as shoplifting, this is the act of removing items from a business without paying for them.
free-shopping : Jo-Hailey went to 7-Eleven and free-shopped them out of all of their Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Doritoes, the day their shoplifting alarm wasn't working.

What Hollister does to you. They get you lost in a dark forest of plants and fabric. Then they render your senses useless by shining bright light in your eyes and blaring loud pop music in your ears. Finally, they choke you by forcing you to inhale the poisonous fumes they call "fragrance". You eventually pass out and awake in a small white room with a mirror or two, naked and moneyless. Surrounded by clothes you never wanted.
Amanda: OMIGOSH, I THINK I'VE BEEN SHOP-RAPED!
Claire: Did you go into Hollister again?!?
Amanda: It was on a dare :(

A division of Google that lets you search all online shops. It can be very useful in some cases...but usually you get really repetitive results.
Dude 1: Ugh, I can't find any tourettes guy DVDs on Ebay or Amazon.com!
Dude 2: Oh...well then try a Google Shopping search.
Dude 1: It says, "You search did not match any documents"!
Dude 2: Well, sucks for you. Go find it in a store.

A hot shop is a business which treats its employees that bad, that it's almost about to explode. It is a slang of trade unions to describe one of two cases:
1. Without the need of professional organizers the anger of the employees has reached such high levels that they have organized themselves, and are about to sign up for union membership.
2. The only thing that keeps this business running is the bad pay, unpaid overtime hours, and sacrifice of the workers.
AFL: You won't organize that hot shop, would you? If it's going out of business, its workers will be unemployed!
CIO: If it only exists to exploit them, it deserves no better. Hold my beer!
Syndicalist: Don't send Steve! That’s the guy who screwed up the hot shop.
