Queer is an umbrella term for someone being a part of the LGBTQ+ community. It used to be a slur but the people of the community reclaimed and embraced it. It can be used to describe anyone who is not heterosexual and or cisgender.
They are a part of the queer community.
I don’t really have a preference in choosing my partner. I most identify with the term queer.
