A school where diversity is internal, and if ever external, it is defined by a bright colored plaid shirt as opposed to a bland grey one. People are quirky, yet pretentious and the girls are infamously unattractive. Beer googles are a must for everyone on a Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday night. Professors drink and smoke with students all the while discussing the latest underground bands and their impression on popular culture. Anthropology is the easiest major at Kenyon, but English is most widely declared. The football team sucks.

Jesika: Well, I just declared English with a minor in Russian and an emphasis with on Sociology in Comparative Perspective.
Artur: Kenyon College?
John: What's your favorite play?
Alan: Ot-ello.
John: Othello.

Backup College is a well-known private, Jesuit university located in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. It is most commonly known by its abbreviation, BC.
Student 1: I just got rejected from Notre Dame, Georgetown, Villanova, and Fordham!
Student 2: Yeah, good thing you applied to BC!
Student 1: But no one actually wants to attend their backup college...

we are rich. we are preppy. we are better than you. we pop our collars. we wear uggs, loafers, and pointy shoes. burberry scarves and designer bags are a must. if you don't have a north face fleece and a nalgene, go home. butt pants are so hot. we have a lot of money and we spend it on alcohol and coke (and we don't mean the soda). weekends are for gettin drunk, going to frats and bars, hookin up with random hotties and sleeping it off. brunch at west is what we live for, but we certainly don't go until 12. we are white and we hate 'doids. we live for our cell phones and for aim. don't talk to us if you are not one of us.

The family college at Rice University. Full of lovable, sporty inhabitants called Hanszenites. Has student-run government meetings called Cabinet which happen to be the most popular study breaks every Wednesday night. Home of the original holiday, "Crane Day." Obsessed with mimosas.

A college that primarily offers 2-3 year diploma programs; often refereed to rather condescendingly as junior college. In Canada, Community College is generally known simply as College while four-year degree programs are normally taught only at a University.
Generally, focuses on a more practical, hands on approach rather then a theory heavy approach. Also has much less focus on the academic subjects and more on technical ones (although most programs will have at least some academic subjects but they’re not the focus).
Usually costs far less then a four-year degree program type of college and is often a more practical option for people that don’t want tens of thousands of dollars in debt from student loans.
People tend to look down on community college because of its technical focus rather then academic focus. They seem to feel that anyone not strong academically is stupid. People that think this way seem to forget that not everyone is academically inclined and everyone learns differently (hence, why there are different options for education).
Many go to Community College because they cannot afford the privilege of going (away) to a four-year college or university.
In short, Community College is another option for education that has a technical rather then academic focus.
I went to Community College because I wanted a technical, hands on approach that woulden't leave me tens of thousands on dollars in debt.

Somerset College is the smartest school on the gold coast. it has recieved the most OP's for many years in a row and is not a very religious school
